Family Day weaving
Every month at the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History there was a Family Day with programming geared toward that audience. In coordination with the opening of the new basketry exhibit I curated, I helped put together a Family Day themed around weaving with the help of the Education department at the museum. I had examples of baskets that kids could touch, books for adults, and tabletop activities for kids to practice weaving the patterns on the baskets in the exhibit.
