In 2020 my mother wrote a children's book called The Lonely Redwood all about Ol' Survivor, the last old growth redwood in the Oakland Hills. I illustrated the book designed the layout for print.
Bird News Zines
I make an annual zine for my family and friends called Bird News, and so far there have been four volumes. The zine grew out of a new pandemic-era tradition where our family started sharing our “bird news” while videochatting weekly. Basically, did you see any cool birds lately?

Annual Recipe Books
I also make an annual recipe book every holiday season for my family and friends, which feature my favourite recipes from the year and my own illustrations. I design these booklets myself and use tools such as Procreate, Illustrator, and Photoshop in addition to hand sketching and watercolour. The project is on a brief hiatus while motherhood changes the way I cook, but it will return!
